Throughout the summer gallery season, we present weekly trunks shows featuring the work of our spectacular gallery artists. This season, some of them will be virtual and some will be in person and ALL will be available to view on Instagram “LIVE”, Fridays at 5:30 IG: @j.mcveighjewelry
CABARET EVENINGS:
As a professional opera singer and jeweler, owner John McVeigh enjoys combining his love of both music and art into one. During the summer J. McVeigh Jewelry hosts cabaret evenings in conjunction with weekly trunk shows featuring the work of our gallery artists, often inviting guest singers to perform with him, allowing both passions to play out in the intimate setting the gallery provides.
Due to COVID-19 Cabaret evenings in the gallery this season have been canceled. We look forward to bringing you more evenings together next summer.
“SUMMER SUNDAYS” on MDI: Pop-Up Jewelry Trunk Show and Personal Appearance by LENE VIBE

LENE VIBE launched her collection in 2002, based on her love for the natural world, from working in her garden, to exploring the forest and watching the constant movements of the ocean. All this now provides inspiration for the whimsical flowers and creatures, that surround precious pearls and gemstones in her collection.
Lene designs and manufactures her jewelry with great joy, and hopes they will be worn with the same happiness and passed down to loved ones. She hand crafts all her pieces at her workbench with a thoughtfulness to how the pieces will feel when they are worn.
Lene was trained as a goldsmith at George Jensen, and in 2002 opened her atelier in Copenhagen. She does not sketch any of the pieces first; it seems to all take place in her imagination and comes out in the way in which she approaches the metal. Her pieces have a three-dimensional quality and are brought to life in 18K gold, a range of pearls, colored gemstones and polish rough cut and raw diamonds.
On Sunday, Aug 4th, we travel to Mt. Desert Isle, for “POP UP SUNDAYS”. Please join us as we partner with Cygnet Gallery, 322 Main St, Southwest Harbor, ME 04679 for a personal appearance and jewelry trunk show by LENE VIBE, 11am-4pm. Also on view that day is jewelry by Ray Griffiths, Rob Greene, Nisa Smiley and Sam Woehrmann.
