Throughout the summer gallery season, we present weekly trunks shows featuring the work of our spectacular gallery artists. This season, some of them will be virtual and some will be in person and ALL will be available to view on Instagram “LIVE”, Fridays at 5:30 IG: @j.mcveighjewelry
CABARET EVENINGS:
As a professional opera singer and jeweler, owner John McVeigh enjoys combining his love of both music and art into one. During the summer J. McVeigh Jewelry hosts cabaret evenings in conjunction with weekly trunk shows featuring the work of our gallery artists, often inviting guest singers to perform with him, allowing both passions to play out in the intimate setting the gallery provides.
Due to COVID-19 Cabaret evenings in the gallery this season have been canceled. We look forward to bringing you more evenings together next summer.
Jewelry Trunk Show and Personal Appearance by KARIN JACOBSON

KARIN JACOBSON has been in the jewelry industry since the summer she graduated from high school: first as an apprentice; then as a bench jeweler working for an independent designer while also attending the University of Minnesota; and finally starting her own business. Today, Karin works out of my sunny studio in the Arts District of Northeast Minneapolis, where she designs and hand makes her collection, and creates custom work.
Karin’s current collection is inspired by Origami. These designs push the boundaries of traditional jewelry to become small-scale wearable sculpture. She developed her folding technique to create pieces that have a graceful fluidity and big visual impact. Each piece is hand made, and focuses on ethically sourced materials, such as recycled metals and gemstones that are fair-trade, recycled, domestically sourced, or purchased from gem buyers who have direct relationships with miners from small, artisanal mines.
