Throughout the summer gallery season, we present weekly trunks shows featuring the work of our spectacular gallery artists. This season, some of them will be virtual and some will be in person and ALL will be available to view on Instagram “LIVE”, Fridays at 5:30 IG: @j.mcveighjewelry
CABARET EVENINGS:
As a professional opera singer and jeweler, owner John McVeigh enjoys combining his love of both music and art into one. During the summer J. McVeigh Jewelry hosts cabaret evenings in conjunction with weekly trunk shows featuring the work of our gallery artists, often inviting guest singers to perform with him, allowing both passions to play out in the intimate setting the gallery provides.
Due to COVID-19 Cabaret evenings in the gallery this season have been canceled. We look forward to bringing you more evenings together next summer.
Jewelry Trunk Show and Personal Appearance by Baiyang Qiu

Growing up in a small traditional jewelry shop in China, BAIYANG QIUs interest in jewelry started at an early age. To pursue her dream, she moved to the United States to study and developed a bench practice that explored contemporary concepts supported by traditional techniques. Inspired by nature and its beautiful forms, Baiyang uses extremely fine gauge wire of high karat gold and platinum to bring her designs to life. Whether it be a raindrop gliding down a leaf or a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, vine-like wire work becomes a three-dimensional line drawing that captures transitory moments to preserve them in jewelry. The subjective relationship between her work and the body is part of this dichotomy, and jewelry is the medium to present her perspective to the wearer.
